these made me happy right now.

i ran bloomsday.

i have been training for 2 months.

i rolled my ankle Friday.

and still ran seven and one half miles.

i even threw up half way through

ps. don’t chug four cups of water no matter how many smiling cheerleaders are shoving them at you as you run at mile number four.

here’s the whole story…

Saturday morning after Ladies Creative Sharing at the Chapel Gina and I ventured to spokane {after coffee} we had a blast of a drive, laughing talking and listening to, Matt Costa, Regina Spektor ATON of A FINE FRENZY, The Beach Boys, Michael Bible, Josh Turner, priscilla Ahn, Landon Austin and none other then ELVIS.

it was awesome.

we got to spokane, earlier then the girls we were meeting so we walked to walmart and bought shirts and ear buds.

we got to the hotel at about 7:30 and met INGA, Gina and Elena’s older seester and four of her co-workers, they were all super. i liked them.

we all stayed in a room together and it was fun, other then i was hobbling everywhere from my ankle.

we went to “bostons” for dinner. it was YUMMO.

back to the hotel a round of UNO a message and a shower later i was out cold. so tired.

6:50 we were all up and rearing. we got ready had some breakfast had a power bar and out the door we were originally going to take the bus…well there was a line as long as the great wall of china so we did not.

we drove and walked about a half a mile to the start of the race.

we were in the orange group, my ankle was sore and I was so PUMPED! we finally started running at about 9:00 i made it up all the hills untill i was in tears from sharp pains in my foot and ankle running up “doomsday hill” i chugged my water then lost it. my time was HORRID but….

I MADE IT.

and that is enough for me =-)

i even got a tee shirt =-)

we all went back to the hotel hobbling like old ladies helping each other up the stairs, checked outta the hotel went to red robin where i ate a SHROOM BURGER. it was awesome. not so much flavor but the shrooms were worth it.

then we said our good-byes, Gina and I wandered the down town mall then met her friend Ian for Coffee.

He was fabulous, so funny and great. i liked him and the way Gina smiled.

*wink*…ok so i’m dreaming, but i’m sorta the hopless romantic.

we talked music and life. my two favorite things.

i drove us home after a triple shot white chocolate mocha. I needed TRI shots. i was so dead tired.

driving was a joy.

we talked about our joys and hardships while our playlist of our favorites played in the background….we laughed and imagined….then we practiced my lines…i got so into my shakespear i missed MOSES LAKE exit where we we’re gonna get munchies…so we stopped in GOERGE instead. yes there really is a GOERGE, WASHINGTON. I liked it.

went to work today. school then work tomorrow.

life is BEAUTIFUL.

I had a blast.

Hello Friends!

These last 10 days were amazing!

I left for Shiloh Friday evening, Friday morning I walked for bubble tea with Keren Small, the SMALLS were in town!

then we left for camp, we being; Josiah, Ana, James, Elena, Katie Hannah and I. the trip up was hilarious!

after we arrived we said our hello’s then off to bed, it was about 10:30 when we got there.

the next two days werelovely filled with chapels basket ball, bump, guitars and listening to roger’s songs he wrote!

Roger and I got asked to sing at a wedding too! how exciting!

Saturday evening Ruthie and I snuck out and used window paint on Rogers car! it was hilarious…well Mr Junker didn’t think so thus we got into trouble..but it was almost worth it..almost

Constance Martin was our cabin Leader, her and her husband Junior were on a “test run” of camp..they were looking into taking over camp when the Smalls left. They are AMAZING PEOPLE. I’ve never loved anyone quicker then Constance.

Sunday afternoon Mrs Lichty came to get Ruthie Sam and I, I said farewell to lovely Yakima crew and headed for Cosi where we sang at Nursing home then back to Cosi Chapel for night church.

Monday after settling into the Lichty’s Ruthie, Sam and I did homework while Anna and Ben went to work.

the afternoon rolled around and Ruthie and I walked to get coffee then met Anna and Ben at home, then loaded the van up and Ben drove Ruthie annie, Sam and I to bible study at Crawfords. It was lovely!

Tuesday we had school then Krystal Darrin came over, we all goofed around and Anna Ben and I played guitar for hours…then Ben and I tried to make cookies…well it turned out I ended up on the floor with cookie dough all over my hands and flour on my face while ben doubled over laughing. It was FUN!

Wednesday we left for “Club” in Cosi, Mrs Lichty Took Anna, Sam, Ruthie and I to the school in Cosi and we taught a CEF after school club. Then Prayer meeting at Cosi Chapel =-) When we got home that evening back to Westport we had a lovely chat with Mrs Lichty and got ice cream Kassie even spent the night with us =-)

Thursday Morning right after breakfast Kassie Ruthie, Anna and I drove up to Olympia to DAVIDS BRIDAL and tried on loads of bridesmaid dresses till we found the RIGHT ONE. here are some…

It was amazing let me tell you.

after we drove back to Cosi and stopped by Mc Donalds then back out to Westport, Jonny came over and for the rest of the evening i helped him stud for a welding test at college. from 6-10:30…whoof. then Bree came out and we watched a movie till we all konked out.

Oh I forgot! Monday morning I pierced my ear!….again…on the top this time. Ruthie was about to do it Ben was holding my hand and my eye’s were shut tight…then she squealed and said she couldn’t so I took the patato and safety pin, counted to three then yelled “MOTHER OF ABE LINCOLN!”

it was painful.

i like it though.

anyways, Friday we got up did laundry, packed and headed out for camp. First Bree and Ruthie went tanning and Anna and I walked about…then out to camp, for the Womens retreat, it was lovely! Elena, Hannah, Kaycee all came out! i was excited! it was a beautiful weekend i enjoyed emensly…full of great conversation and just plain fun.

Sunday morning I bid everyone goodbye…the rode home with Julie Waller, Jenny Aggett and Susan Sanders {who we swear we were seperated at birth!} She is amazing lady I adore her, we ate licorice and knitted the whole way home, then mama and I went to “Seasons of service” kick off, in July Loius Palau is comin….like a crusade! and over 80 churches in yakima are getting together to serve our community in preperation to show Yakima JESUS.

We all gathered at Stone church for a time of worship, prayer and speaking, during the worship it brought tears to my eyes to look around at haundreds of people hands raised, some not, some dancing, others silent, just worshiping, not letting any denominational differences or dis agreements get in the way, but coming together for the greater good of the Gospel. I looked around and saw a little bit of heaven. it was amazing.

I worked yesterday and school today, now youth group in a bit..i better be off.

this weekend dears.

highschool \college retreat.

did you know that SHILOH is my favorite place in the world?

some of the most amazing friends made, most amazing memories, hardest times, greatest, hardest laughter and tears. Most Growth. Best worship. finding myself and JESUS in ways i never thought i could.

Here’s how it began…

ONCE upon a time, a little girl with STRAIGHT blond hair and eye’s that change colours heard about a camp…and as soon as she heard she knew she HAD to go. there was no other option.So after many talk sessions with her parents…sorting pro’s and cons, she got to go. She waited for that days with the utmost excitment…then one day, it came. She piled in a suburban with seven other little girls, her closest friends from chapel and made that NEVER ENDING JOURNEY {that is really only 4 hours but you see, to a 8 year old it WAS never ending.} TO SHILOH. They Rumbled up the long drive under the sign that read “Welcome to SHILOH BIBLE CAMP” she squealed and drank in her surroundings, the loucious GREEN grass and rusty old covered play area {that was someday to become THE HERITAGE CENTER} and the little dining hall\chapel\ and everything else. She saw the light green cabins and the YELLOW bathhouse and the CIT building..the STAFF housing… OH AND THE TREES! There were big tires and swing sets in the field, Rock wall, Even HORSE SHOE PITS. a fire pit and a volleyball court…to that little girl it had EVERYTHING. The SUV came to a rumbling stop and she hopped our, splashing into a mud puddle, inhaling humid thick air, rain softly fell on her little round face as she grinned. From then on, SHILOH had her heart. Forever.

Monday Billy and I went on a brother sister DATE.

we went to the mall and got in a photo booth, bought shirts, road UP AND DOWN the escalators till we got kicked off. walked over to MONGOLIAN GRILL. we had ablast there is nothing like a little eight year old boy to make life happy.

Zay’s birthday is today {and if you don’t know, Zay {Isaiah}  is my older brother 20 Now mind you}

we got him a LAZY BOY recliner for his living room, i got to drive CHARLES {my little white truck} to pick it up. it was grand.
