whirlwinds & new leggings

Today.

MARVELOUS!

I curled my hair, put on my new leggins and a christmas dress..a nifty scarf..

oh lovely..

after church I went to work..not too busy..it was nice =-)

then off to the homeless shelter with mama…My mama should win a award or something. =-)

and I noticed her smile today.

gorgeous.

then we christmas shopped…whoop.

all done =-) piles of fabric and yarn to work away with =-)

it was nice. and yesterday,..

at work it was slammed all day. so tired but life is so peachy =-)

I talked to Elena and Luke too.

that was even better =-)

I’m off to work again tomorrow..with a flower in my hair  and my faorite scarf

{i love scarfs almost as much as toe socks}

life is such a

whirlwind

but..

calms the storms. =-)

i read it this morning..it made me want to shout of Jesus’ love from the roof tops..

On another note..

today was my only day off till Christmas.

I spent it with My nan and papa and great aunts =-)

one word.

..although 4 people said I looked like i was 12 today..

i was taken aback..see, when I was 12 everyone said I looked older..

but now..

4 years later..

I look like I’m 12.

so I went home and looked in the mirror…and the pale long blond haired girl and decided…

they are right.

oh well..then I shall be 12 =-)

maybe I’ll get pulled over for looking too young to drive..hehe.

oh life…i love to laugh at you =-)

Weekends Dear =-)

Oh I love weekends…=-)

I’ve been working almost every single day and will be till Christmas..but I had Sunday and Monday..(today off =-)

saturday evening I went to Elena’s…I rode home with her Mama, who is like my second Mama..I’ve known them most of my whole life…and she is my mama’s best friend. So we got to talking and it was wonderful =-)

then I got to Elena’s and we giggled ourselves to sleep listening to “The Weepies” My current favorite…

we had a beautiful morning of fellowship…I wore my pink and purple and black dress..with my pink and white head covering..It was fun I heart dresses =-) and curled my hair and pinned a part back…oh yes =-)  getting dressed on sundays =-)

After church Elena and I went back and ate lunch and put 4 sweatshirts on…(even over flannel) two gloves..two pairs of socks…snow boots…snowpants…the works…James and Josiah came and picked Sean and the two of us up…and we headed toward the mountians =-) we met Dave and Gina, Carolyn  and Aymee on the way up and set out to get Christmas trees =-) we hiked…found trees…ate and fought in snow..four  wheeled in it =-) then found a frozen over creek thing….we ice skated =-) We would run and slide…fall and land in a laughing  {and sometimes groaning} mess =-) it was oh.so.fun =-) then Sean and Dave had a fire going so Carolyn made chilli and we roasted hot dogs…after our little meal we headed home , it was almost dark by then.. I was so cold…I shivvered almost the whole way back while Josiah and Len Napped and Sean played with the music…but I was satisfied with his choice of Jack Johnson =-)

when we got back we ate hot soup and warmed up…such a beautiful wonderful day =-) all these weekends and adventures I go on with my closest friends…I shall never ever forget =-) not ever…=-)

So much to write of!! =-)

marvelous weekend!

let us start with thanksgiving..

We went to my Nanny and Papa’s with the cousins..aunts, uncles, great aunts and uncles..sibblings etc… =-)

we ate, playedpool,sang, danced, laughed and ate some more =-) smashing it was… =)

Then My older brother Isaiah took me ton the church later where Elena and I went to Gina’s and played “Dutch Blitz” with Gina and Ariana =-) we rolled around laughing and wrestling so hard…when Carolyn got home I fear we scared her =-)

Then 5:00 AM rolled around the next morning and we were off!! Ariana  Elena, Hannah and Josiah and I all went “black friday shopping! I wore bright purple pants {they laughed at me, but i liked them}  and a strawberry pin in my hair =-) we went to the mall first and ran around…we ran into Isaiah and Ben…we laughed because they had been saying the night before how silly WE WERE for shopping so early. ha.

Then we rode the escalators uo and down hehe =-)

then went and ate burger king at 6:30 {AM mind you.} hehe

then Jo Ann Fabrics where I had to refrain from buying the WHOLE store..but it wasn’t too hard because with all the sales old ladies were willing to run me over for their material =-)

then everything at goodwill was 50 % off!!!! wonderful! I bought several scarfs and a skirt and a bag =-) happy!

then we all crashed at the church at 8:30 till about 11:00..I had to get up and shower and head off to work at noon. {I wore my new skirt and scarf and my beloved strawberry clip} lovely busy day at work =-)

then at six my wonderful father came and got me..we went grocery shopping and then home to gather some things and then he {so selfless..i adore my daddy}  took me to Heathers to meet the other girls…for a movie night =-) happy!! we made cookies and laughed then watched “Newsies”  Heathers favorite musical =-) it was lovely =-)

and my favorite part of the whole evening…I got there and James walked around the corner..grinning the way he does…and Luke walked out of the closet…GRINNING..I ran to hug him! so good to hear him and see his grin! {shh}

we talked for a bit..then James had to get going to meet with his parents in Ellensburg …it was good to see Luke…I hardly ever see him since he moved away.. and and he is one of my best friends…but it was GRAND! he and James…{James..that sneaky one..he planned it haha} and of course James will be back sunday but not Luke so when they went to get into the jeep to go and I ran out and flung Lukes door open to hug goodbye once more…then they were gone.

and the GIRLS night began =-) such a spiffy night with Rosie dear and Heather and Carolyn..Gina, ari, Nena, Tabitha…and POPCORN. =-)

then today I woke up at Elena’s =-) of course our weekly giggle sessions..and we ate yummy crepes {my favorite breakfast} with all the fizings..mmm. =-) then we took a walk…cleaned the kitchen for a bit…then she worked on James’  Christmas present and with the fabric that lovely lovely Sandra gave me I made Luke a stalking and embroidered his Initial..then I went with Gina after ate a early supper with Inga and everyone.. Gina and I went back to her appartment and laughed…watched Tim Hawkins..listened to Nat King Cole =-) put up Christmas lights..then I went home =-)

played music now I’m sitting and embroidering a design on Luke’s Stalking and listening to Jack Johnson, John Foreman and Nathaniel Chapman..=-) I love just sitting and crafting with music in my bright pink bowl chair =-)

These are the days…=-)

I’m reading the most brilliant book…of course the Bible and “Little Women” still riegn supreme, this one comes in a close second..

it is called “Notes from the Tilt-a-whirl” by N.D Wilson

I loved this when I read it..it is referring to a man watching his wife beckon him to stand near the lighthouse and loo onto the crashing waves togther…he is a bit apprehensive..but goes anyhow…

“She waits for me. I hurry now, and my wet hands find hersout of the wind…Our kiss tastes like Potato chips..We are alive..We are here, in this part of a story..standing by the sea under the surly sky..We are cold..but not as cold as the dead.”

isn’t it nifty? i just loved it…oh and this..

Sunshine on a cloudy day…

It is cloudy…

I got up this morning and put on a grey shirt..when I looked in the morror I was thoroughly dissatisfied.

It was much grey for me…so I put a yellow one on.

I walked out to get my toast and dad looked at me and said “Good morning Sunshine!”

my mission was accomplished =-)

I hope you have a sunshiny day…even if it is overcast! because I can lay odds…Jesus wants us to be sunshine to others when there isn’t any…so SMILE =-) be sinshine..even if your not wearing a yellow shirt today..=-)

Lovely afternoons….

We built a

fort

today =-)  Biily boy and I =-) we spent three hours digging holes and putting posts in the ground…

nailing boards to the posts then looking at our master piece. we were so proud.

that’s where Billy is now =-)

I was cold. chilled and my cheeks were Bright RED.

So I came in and put some toe socks on <3 =-)

I learned some violin..i think I’m loving it..but it is indeed hard dear. harder then I thought =-) but someday I’ll play =-)
